• 4 Zipper Hemp Pithu Bag 20L — Stone Blue (₹899) — the carrier. ~20L at 49 × 39 × 9 cm, with four separate zip compartments so electronics, documents, snacks and layers stay apart instead of sinking into one heap. Padded adjustable straps. Fits a laptop up to 15 inches. Natural hemp shrugs off light rain on its own.
• Bag Cover 20–35L (₹250) — the shield. PU-coated waterproof cover with 360° wraparound coverage and an elasticated hem that grips the base of the pack properly. How the three layers work together

Rain protection isn't one product — it's a sequence. Hemp handles drizzle by itself, so most days you carry the Pithu and nothing else changes.

When it turns heavier, the cover comes out of its pouch and goes over the pack in about five seconds. Because it's cut for the 20–35L range, the hem grips the base instead of hanging loose — which is what stops water tracking in underneath, the way it does with an oversized cover.

• Pithu: hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent — do not machine wash, tumble dry or bleach
• Air dry the Pithu in shade — don't wring it out
• Cover and pouch: wipe clean with a damp cloth
• Dry the cover fully before packing it back into its pouch — storing it damp is what makes covers smell
• Check the pouch seal before every water use — close the dual-lock fully along its whole length
• Store everything in a cool, dry place
