Built around the tablet
At 27 × 23 cm, the Voyager is cut to the proportions of a tablet rather than to a generic sling shape. An iPad, iPad Air or most Android tablets up to 11" sit flat against your back, where the bag is closest to your body and least exposed to knocks.
That positioning is the design: your device stays flat and stable while your phone, wallet and charger live in front of it, so nothing presses into the screen and nothing rattles around loose.
Storage and closures
- Zip-top main compartment — the tablet section, plus room for a charger, a slim notebook and your everyday essentials. Zipped fully shut across the top.
- Flap-covered front zip pocket — a zip pocket under a hook-and-loop flap, for phone, wallet, cards and transit passes. Two layers between a crowded metro and your phone.
The strap
A flat cream woven strap — wide rather than cord-thin, so the load spreads across the shoulder instead of biting into it. It's fully adjustable for crossbody or back-carry, and the whole bag swings forward in one motion when you need to get into it without stopping.
Fabric and colourways
Natural hemp canvas in a beige base, with ten options: Natural Canvas and Sandstone Messenger for the most understated look, Nomad Stripe, Coastal Weave and Granite Trail for woven pattern, and Glacier Teal, Sage Horizon, Evergreen Trail, Indigo Expedition and Midnight Trail for deeper colour. No — it's a dedicated hemp compartment rather than a padded sleeve. The hemp canvas and the flat back position protect against everyday scuffs and pressure, but we'd recommend keeping your tablet in its own case for real impact protection.
Is the strap padded?
No — it's a flat woven hemp strap, wide rather than cord-thin, so the load spreads across the shoulder. At ~278g empty, most people carry it comfortably for hours.
Can I fit a laptop in here too?

How does the front pocket close?
There's a zip pocket on the front, covered by a flap that fastens with hook-and-loop — so your phone and cards sit behind two layers.
