Shaped like the hull of a boat, built for wherever the water takes you. The Khojo Hemp Drift Boat Bag trades the usual sling silhouette for something wider and flatter — made for beach days, boat trips and travel where you want your essentials close and your hands free.
- 100% natural hemp canvas with a handwoven multicolour weave
- Distinctive boat-shaped silhouette — 30 × 21 × 4 cm flat profile
- Full zip closure keeps sand, spray and stray items out
- Wide opening — see everything at once instead of digging
- Single adjustable strap — crossbody or shoulder carry
- Just ~175g — easy all-day carry
- Five colourways, from Sea Breeze to Midnight Ridge
Why the boat shape matters
Most slings are tall and narrow. The Drift Boat is the opposite — 30 cm wide against just 4 cm deep, a shape borrowed from a boat hull. That geometry does two useful things.
First, it lies genuinely flat against your body, so it doesn't bounce when you walk down to the shoreline or shift around when you sit on a boat bench. Second, the wide mouth means you can see everything inside in one look — no burrowing past a towel to find your keys. It also holds its form whether it's packed or empty, so it never looks slumped.
Storage and closure
A single full zip runs across the top and closes the bag completely. On a beach that matters more than pocket count — sand gets into anything left open, and a zipped bag can be set down on the sand and shaken out later without losing anything.
Inside there's room for a light towel, sunscreen, phone, wallet, keys and a cover-up — or the basics for a day of travel.
The strap
A single adjustable strap, worn crossbody or over one shoulder. Because the bag is so shallow, it tucks in close under your arm rather than sticking out — useful on a crowded ferry, a narrow boardwalk or a beach shack aisle.
Fabric and weave
Natural hemp canvas with handwoven multicolour panels across five colourways — Sea Breeze, Wild Moss, Lagoon Trail, Festival Trail and Midnight Ridge. Hemp is naturally breathable and handles sand and sun well, and carries natural water resistance for spray and light rain. It isn't built for submersion, so keep valuables away from direct water.
Where it works best
- Beach days — towel, sunscreen, phone, all zipped away from the sand
- Boat trips, ferries and island hopping
- Poolside and resort days
- Travel days when you want a flat bag that won't bulk out
- Festivals and markets, worn close under the arm

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes it a 'Boat Bag'?
The shape. A flat, wide silhouette (30 × 21 × 4 cm) inspired by a boat hull — built to sit close to the body and hold its form whether it's empty or full.
What fits inside?
Beach essentials — a light towel, sunscreen, phone, wallet, keys, a cover-up — or the basics for a day of travel. The wide zip opening makes it easy to see and grab what you need.
Is it good for the beach?
Yes — hemp is naturally breathable and handles sand and sun well. Shake out the sand and let it air dry. It isn't built for submersion, so keep valuables away from direct water contact.
How is it different from the Hululu Sling or Waist Bag?
Those are narrower, built for hands-free everyday and trekking use. The Drift Boat trades that shape for a wide, flat silhouette suited to beach days and travel packing — same hemp, different build.
Does it have inner pockets?
It's built as one clean zip compartment rather than a divided bag. If you want separated sections, the Raahi or Hululu slings are the better pick.
Will the design I receive match the photos?
Close, but not identical. Each piece is handmade from a multicolour hemp weave, so patterns vary slightly between bags of the same colourway.
